Multi Timer Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 18, 2026 (Last Updated: October 18, 2026) | Package/Identifier: com.onsimdangai.multitimer
Key Summary: Multi Timer ("the App") is a 100% on-device utility for concurrent countdown timers and sequential routines. It collects zero personal information, requires no accounts or login, and transmits zero data to developer servers. The statement regarding the absence of the INTERNET permission applies strictly to the Android version. iOS does not use the Android Manifest permission model and the App contains no server transmission capabilities.
1. Collection and Use of Personal Information
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information (such as name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers).
2. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
All user-configured timer durations, remaining countdowns, target finish instants, and routine definitions are stored strictly on your local device hardware (using SharedPreferences on Android and local storage on iOS), and the App does not transmit data to its own developer servers.
- The App does not upload or sync any user data to developer servers or external third-party servers.
- Local application data is cleared when resetting app data or uninstalling the application. However, whether data is included in device backups and restored via iOS device backups or iCloud depends on the user's operating system backup settings.
3. Device Permissions (Android)
The Android version operates under the Android Manifest permission system and does not declare or request the INTERNET permission. It uses the following specific permissions:
- USE_EXACT_ALARM: Used strictly to schedule timer completion alarms at the exact target second through the Android AlarmManager.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to deliver system notifications when a timer completes or when a routine transitions to the next step.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to restore pending countdown alarms with the operating system after a device reboot.
- VIBRATE: Used to provide haptic feedback when a countdown completes.
4. Notification Permissions (iOS)
iOS does not use the Android Manifest permission model.
The iOS version requests permission for local notification alerts and sounds to announce timer completion and routine step changes. Timers and routines remain usable inside the app if permission is denied, but system notifications are unavailable. Notification delivery and sound depend on notification settings, silent mode, Focus, and operating system limits. The app does not guarantee Android-equivalent alarm behavior or a continuously ringing alarm. iOS limits the number of pending notifications.
5. Third-Party Services and Analytics
The App contains zero advertising SDKs (no AdMob), zero third-party analytics frameworks (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Crashlytics), and zero tracking libraries.
