READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO allow queries of permitted media on Android 13+. READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED supports selected-media access on Android 14+. READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is used on Android 11–12. Denied media is not analyzed.
Optional ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION prevents EXIF byte redaction for exact original-byte SHA-256 comparisons. GPS coordinates are not analyzed or stored and no location profile is created. Exact-duplicate classification may be limited when original bytes cannot be verified.
Permitted media identifiers, names, sizes, capture times, hashes and derived features are processed in private app storage. Scaled images and local models help compare duplicate, similar and blur candidates. Recommendations are advisory. Face detection supports image-quality comparison; it does not identify people or create a face-identity database. Recognized text is compared locally and is not uploaded.
Clear app data or uninstall to remove local indexes and settings. Android automatic backup is disabled. Original media and system trash are separate from app data and are managed by your device’s photo app.
The app includes Google Play Billing, MediaPipe, ML Kit face detection and Korean text recognition, and ML Kit diagnostic transport dependencies. There is no advertising SDK or separate Firebase Analytics. ML Kit’s supplier disclosure describes per-installation identifiers, device/app information and diagnostic, performance, error and feature-event processing. Android builds connected to the billing verification server use the INTERNET permission for HTTPS communication. Media analysis remains on device. Google Play services telemetry paths may send per-installation identifiers, device/app information, performance/error information and feature-call events to Google. The supplier discloses diagnostics and usage analytics, HTTPS transmission and no onward third-party sharing. Original photos, thumbnails and recognized face/text content are not included in these diagnostic transmissions. Clearing local app data does not guarantee deletion of SDK diagnostics processed by Google; Google privacy and retention policies govern that processing.
Google Play processes payment transactions through its services. For purchases, restoration and paid-operation access checks, the app sends the purchase token, product ID, package name and Google-signed purchase evidence (which may include order ID and purchase time) to the OnsimdangAI HTTPS verification server. The server checks purchase state, acknowledgement and expiry with the Google Play Developer API. No media originals, thumbnails or analysis results are included. Raw tokens and signed receipts are processed for verification and are not stored in app logs or the server ledger. The ledger retains only the token SHA-256, product, state, expiry and verification times, and acknowledgement status. Rows last verified over 90 days ago are removed on the next ledger update. IP addresses are processed for network connections and may occur in security/error logs. This processing supports purchases and fraud prevention, not advertising or data sales. The developer does not collect card numbers, bank accounts or payment passwords. Google’s terms and privacy policy govern Play account, payment and platform processing.
There is no app-specific registration or login, so no separate app-account deletion procedure is required. Clear app data or uninstall in device settings to remove local derived data. This does not delete original media. The latest Android app offers an optional 7-day cleanup pass as a one-week prepaid subscription without automatic renewal. The South Korea price is KRW 2,900; the Play purchase sheet shows the final price, taxes and duration. Top-ups, restoration and expiration follow the status verified by Google Play. Existing monthly and annual subscriptions remain available to their holders and can be managed or cancelled in Google Play. Uninstalling does not cancel an existing auto-renewing subscription. Cleanup requests trash, restoration or permanent deletion only for user-selected items approved in app and Android system confirmations. Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Moving files to trash does not immediately free space; estimated file sizes and observed available-storage changes may differ. Basic edits save a new copy without overwriting the original. Retention and recovery depend on your device/photo app. Revoke permissions in device settings. Do not send private photos, card numbers or passwords to support. The iOS bundle ID is com.aiphotocleaner.aiPhotoCleaner. Apple PhotoKit accesses only photos and videos you permit. You may allow full or limited access, deny permission, or change it in Settings. Access changes may require another scan.
Original-resource hashes, thumbnail-based Apple Vision similarity and sharpness estimates are processed on device. Media originals, thumbnails, analysis features and hashes are not sent to the developer's server. Automatic downloading of unavailable iCloud originals is not requested. Recommendations are advisory and do not guarantee the best photo or perfect semantic comparison. You choose what to delete.
Derived analysis caches and keeper/selection preferences are stored in the app's private storage. Analysis caches are excluded from system backup; preference backup and restoration follow Apple system backup settings. Removing the app removes its private data, while original library media remains separate. Edits are saved as new copies without overwriting originals.
Deletion requires app and Apple Photos confirmation. Listing, recovery and permanent deletion of Recently Deleted items take place in the iOS Photos app, subject to Apple's retention period and system limitations. With iCloud Photos, an approved deletion may sync to other devices using the same Apple Account.
The iOS app does not include Android Google Play Billing, MediaPipe or ML Kit SDKs. It has no ads, tracking, separate analytics SDK or app-specific account.
The new 7-day Cleanup Pass (aipc_ios_cleanup_pass_7d) is an Apple non-renewing subscription, valid for 7 days from purchase with no auto-renewal. The South Korean base price is KRW 2,900. Check the App Store purchase sheet for regional currency and the actual billed price. Buy again after expiry. Valid access from existing monthly and annual subscriptions (aipc_pro_monthly, aipc_pro_annual) is preserved; manage or cancel these existing subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
For pass purchases, restoration and paid-feature authorization, StoreKit 2 verified signed transaction information, product and transaction IDs, the bundle ID and a random request-binding value are sent to OnsimdangAI's HTTPS Apple verification service. It checks Apple's current transaction state and applies purchase-date-based 7-day expiry and refund/revocation status. This path is separate from Google purchase tokens and ledgers.
Apple verification requests are processed in real time. Transaction information and signed proofs are not retained in a developer purchase database, ledger or request log. IP addresses are transiently processed for network connections, but access/error logs for this verification route are disabled and IP forwarding headers are removed. Data is not used for advertising, tracking or sale. A connection or verification failure does not grant new pass access; retry or restore after recovery.
Restore using the same purchasing Apple Account. Apple payments, refunds and platform processing follow Apple's terms and privacy policy. The developer does not collect card numbers, bank details or payment passwords. Removing the app does not cancel existing auto-renewing subscriptions.
