# BakeMeet Account Deletion Guide

## In-app path

Android app: Sign in → Account tab → Delete account → re-enter your current password and give explicit confirmation → Request account deletion. A successful request signs you out and confirms scheduled deletion. The public web path works without installing the app.

## Processing

After acceptance, all login sessions are revoked and the account becomes deletion pending. After the default 24-hour delay, the hourly maintenance worker deletes or de-identifies login identities, sessions, OTP/OAuth linking records, push endpoints, interests, application-start subscriptions, contact details, and optional profile data. A personal organizer's public name, introduction, and link become a de-identified label. The live maintenance worker was verified to run successfully. This does not guarantee erasure of every copy within exactly 24 hours.

Content-policy consent and blocks in both directions are removed. Reporter links and report descriptions are removed.

Records needed for application, selection, cancellation, and organizer-operation integrity may remain linked to a de-identified `Deleted user`. A pending no-show appeal, dispute, or seminar legal hold changes the request to held. Immediate erasure from copies governed by a defined backup cycle or lawful retention duty is not promised.

2. Open [Profile](https://onsimdang.com/bakemeet/profile) and enter your current password in the Delete account section.
3. Select Request account deletion and confirm the scheduling/sign-out prompt.
4. An accepted request changes your account to deletion pending and returns to the public deletion guide.

The live service currently uses email/password login. Google, Apple and SMS login providers are not configured. Password-reset email is also unavailable until an email-delivery provider is configured. If you cannot sign in or need a separate data-deletion request, contact the address below. Requests are handled after identity verification. Never include passwords, authentication codes or session tokens in email.
